New Zealands current political makeup is often contended to testify to the advancements women have made in the country. Indeed, the offices of Governor General, Prime Minister, and the Chief Justice are just a few of the high visibility positions now occupied by women. This accomplishment is, however, very limited by womens socioeconomic status. This paper examines the fact that many women in New Zealand continue to struggle for equality. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
