Abortion: Pros And Cons
[ send me this paper ]
5 pages in length. Of the top ten social issues troubling contemporary society, abortion is most assuredly at the head of the list. That the pro-life/pro-choice banter still exists within the twenty-first century speaks to the intense discord that continues to endure between the issue's two sides. Assessing the pros and cons of abortion from both an ethical egoist and psychological egoist perspective finds completely divergent approaches; indeed, when one attempts to pit one against the other as a means by which to provide a convincing argument, one soon realizes that both sides have equally as convincing foundations. Bibliography lists 3 sources.

and how anger and intolerance have made themselves uninvited guests in many a heterosexual courtship relationship. Bibliography lists 2 sources.

Character Analysis of Calixta in Kate Chopins Short Story The Storm
[ send me this paper ]
This is a 5 page paper discussing the character of Calixta in Kate Chopins The Storm. Kate Chopins The Storm tells the story of a 19th century housewife, Calixta, who appears to be unhappy and restless within her marriage. Upon the arrival of an old flame, Alcee, during the approach of a storm, Calixta begins to feel nervous, warm and excited. Her obvious passions are reciprocated and she and Alcee have an affair that lasts the duration of the storm. The characterization of Calixta takes a surprising turn at this point however as neither Alcee nor Calixta experience guilt or remorse of their affair. Calixta, quite to the contrary is rejuvenated and elated by her new found sexuality and she carries her happiness back into her marriage; a shocking prospect in 19th century characterization of women.
