Character Development Of Ammalat-Bek

The synergistic coupling of morality and psychological issues plague his conscience to such an extent that they infiltrate virtually every aspect of Ammalat-bek's life, not the least of which includes his relationship with love interest Sultanetta, obligation and camaraderie toward a military associate and a foster brother who - upon declaring Ammalat-bek possessed - tries yet fails to save Ammalat-bek from moral disintegration.
