In addition to the core administrative structure, the RCMP members are encouraged to continue their education in the understanding of multicultural communities within Canada and on an international basis. The members do this in many different ways such as certification through their online university; organization of cultural awareness sessions within their communities; becoming involved with many volunteer organizations such as the Musical Ride; and, participating in international policing efforts.
